How we rank & what the numbers mean

Source: Roblox Games API, from our saved observations. “Online” means concurrent players at the observation time, not total visits or unique daily players. Popularity uses the latest valid count, including zero. Counts older than 120 minutes at export, future-dated counts and missing values are excluded.

Growth compares two observations from the same source, approximately 24 hours apart (±20 minutes). We choose the nearest baseline; an equally close older baseline wins. Risers need at least 500 players at the latest observation, 100 at baseline, and a positive increase. Missing history stays unknown (—); a zero baseline has no percentage. This is a change between two points, not proof of continuous growth. Time of day, events and updates can change rankings.

Popularity ties use Universe ID; growth ties use current players, then Universe ID. Each board shows at most 10 games and can overlap. Freshness counts refer to the export time. If updates stop, this remains a historical snapshot; compare the displayed timestamps. With JavaScript enabled, the banner also marks it old when its displayed observations expire.

Guide status is editorial: “Read guide” means published; “Guide in progress” means we have explicitly started preparing one, with no promised date. Monitoring alone does not promise a guide.
