Age-Up Potions:
which rewards can you count on?
A friendship level rewards an Age-Up Potion. A birthday gift has a variable reward. Pet Pens grow pets, but do not earn friendship levels.
This reference covers Adopt Me! on Roblox by Uplift Games. It explains official guidance, not a newly playtested farming route.

- Use a pet that has completed its aging stages.
- Continue fulfilling its needs to advance its Friendship Bar.
- Finish a friendship level to earn an Age-Up Potion.
The Friendship Bar FAQ (updated 22 July 2025) specifies 30 needs per level regardless of rarity. Its ordinary Age-Up Potions are untradeable. This describes the regular potion, not every similarly named item.
Why are birthday gifts different?
The 17 April 2026 birthday update introduced varied rewards when pets age up, including Bucks, food and potions. The same announcement explicitly keeps the Age Potion reward for friendship levels. Seeing the birthday animation does not mean those two reward systems have become identical.
For reward odds, the 8 May 2026 update moved the display to the pet focus menu and Age-Up Potion tooltip. Check the game for the applicable reward list; we have not independently verified its current probabilities.
Can Pet Pens give you Age-Up Potions?
They do not advance the Friendship Bar. The 12 September 2025 Pet Pen announcement separates passive pet aging from friendship levels.
That is not enough evidence to say a pen can never be associated with a potion reward. A 29 May 2026 fix specifically addressed gifts disappearing when pets were removed from the pen. It confirms a gift interaction, but does not identify the full reward pool or the odds of an Age-Up Potion.
Does a 2x Weekend double a potion?
No. The 2x Weekends FAQ (updated 2 June 2026) says a regular potion still supplies 30 tasks of aging experience. During the announced event, earning a friendship potion takes 15 tasks instead of the usual 30. The earning rate changes; the potion effect does not.
This is an explanation of the event rule, not a claim that a 2x Weekend is active today.
What about Lures and Super Age-Up Potions?
The official Lures FAQ lists an Age-Up Potion as one possible result. It is not a guaranteed potion from every collection.
The 8 May update also introduced a separate, tradeable Super Age-Up Potion. Do not apply the regular potion's tradeability or experience amount to that item. Its current shop availability is not verified here.
