This reference covers BOMBANANA! by TARK Games on Roblox. It is a role reference and planning aid, not a tested defusal walkthrough.

Where is the two-player entrance?

Start in the main lobby, facing the large BOMBANANA sign.
Look to the left-hand vehicle area, behind the yellow reward chest. The sign reads 2 PLAYER LOBBIES; the right-hand area is for three players.
Walk into the glowing circle behind a vehicle labelled 2 Player. An empty vehicle shows 0/2.
In our session, boarding led to a two-person Selection screen. Once the teammate was ready, the host had a Start button.

If you are inside the interactive tutorial, use T — Exit Tutorial and choose Leave to return to the lobby first. The lobby’s reward signage can partly obscure the two-player sign.

What does each monkey do?

Cannot see the bomb. This is the only role the developer says can interact with it.

02 / MUTE

The manual reader

Can read the defusal manual, but cannot speak.

03 / DEAF

The visual observer

Can see the bomb, but cannot hear.

A team check before the timer gets hectic

The following is our suggested planning routine. It has not been playtested and does not assume a particular chat, gesture or ping feature exists.

Identify everyone's current role. Say or show who has the relevant information using a channel your current mode actually permits. Check which communication tools each teammate can use. A spoken instruction alone is not a suitable plan for someone who cannot hear. Agree on a way to signal “wait” and a way to acknowledge an instruction, if the available controls allow it. Describe one visible detail or requested action at a time. Avoid several teammates giving different instructions at once. Before an action, confirm that the person performing it received the intended instruction. If they did not, pause and clarify rather than guess.

Can you play with two people?

Yes. We entered the lobby's 2 Player vehicle and observed a two-person Classic, Level 1 selection screen on 27 September 2026. The ready teammate was Mute and our host was Blind. We then entered a round with that pairing. This establishes one observed setup, not every allowed combination or how the other player's abilities change.

What did the Blind player see in our two-player round?

Our view showed a black scene with white outlines, while the chapter and module counter remained visible. Pressing E opened the Emotes wheel with number and hand-gesture categories. We could not inspect the teammate's view or confirm how they obtained bomb information. We have not completed a module or verified a defusal solution.

The account used for this check also showed an age-verification prompt for text chat. That is an account access limitation, not evidence of a rule applying to every player or role. Do not assume text chat is available to everyone in your group.

Does Roblox voice chat work in this experience?

On 27 September 2026, the official experience details marked Voice Chat as not supported. Do not assume instructions requiring Roblox voice chat apply to this version. We also opened the lobby's Tutorial Book on that date: its introduction explicitly tells players not to use external voice chat. Follow that instruction rather than treating an external voice app as a requirement. We have not yet verified the communication controls available to every role during a live round.

How does the Mute monkey communicate?

The Mute-role tutorial says this monkey can read the notebook and hear teammates, but cannot type or speak. Its communication tools are numbers and hand gestures. In our desktop tutorial check, pressing E opened the Emotes wheel, showing number and hand-gesture categories. The tutorial directs mobile players to tap EMOTES; we have not tested that on a phone.

For an acknowledgement, the tutorial directs players to HAND GESTURES, then THUMBS UP. We verified the instruction and opened the wheel, but have not completed that gesture or checked delivery to another player. These Mute communication instructions were checked in the tutorial; we did not verify the Mute player’s live view in the two-player round.

Why do some guides say three players are required?

Check the platform, creator and date before applying a player-count rule. For the TARK Games Roblox listing linked here, the developer currently advertises two-player mode. A guide about another edition, another Roblox experience or an earlier update cannot override that announcement.

Use this quick identity check: follow the game's actual link, confirm TARK Games, and match Place ID 93467044568807. A video title containing “BOMBANANA” is not enough to establish which experience was played.

Will a Steam guide work here?

The listing identifies this as an official Roblox adaptation. That establishes the connection, not identical puzzles, controls or progression. Match any guide to the Roblox experience before following its steps.

The instruction about external voice chat was read directly in the in-game Tutorial Book on 27 September 2026. Mute-role instructions and the E-key Emotes wheel were checked in the interactive tutorial on the same date. We also inspected the two-player selection screen and entered a Classic Level 1 round as Blind. This was a partial playtest; no module completion or successful defusal was verified.
