A quick house reference for Brookhaven on Roblox: find a plot, save your work and check who can enter.

Based on the developer's published guides, checked 28 September 2026. We have not independently playtested these steps.

Start with an available property

1. Open Houses in the sidebar on the right.
2. Find a plot marked Vacant, go there and claim it.
3. Select the house for that plot.

If plots are occupied, the official beginner guide suggests another server, a motel room or an apartment. On PC, use WASD or arrow keys to move and Space to jump; sidebar menus need a click or tap, not a keyboard shortcut.

Save before leaving

The official house guide describes a manual save in the house menu for settings and placed props. One save is included; additional slots are separate purchases. A private server's server-wide prop saves are a different feature.

You can own one property at a time. Changing it triggers a ten-minute switching cooldown; VIP removes that wait. Most houses are free, so a paid upgrade is not required to start.

Recheck access after moving

• Lock Doors: restricts entry.
• Roommate: lets a chosen player pass locked doors.
• Family: grants roommate-style access; family members cannot be house-banned.
• House Ban: creates a barrier visible to the banned player.

Moving resets access settings, including locks, roommates and bans. Review them on the new property. These are house controls; this page does not describe Roblox account moderation.

A small check before a big build

Our suggested workflow, not an extra game requirement:

1. Place one easy-to-recognize decoration before spending time on a full room.
2. Use the documented save control, then check the saved result yourself before relying on it for a large build.
3. Note the house and server you used. If the result differs from the documentation, record what happened without assuming the cause.
4. When moving, check the new home's access settings before inviting guests.
